Bean Soup for the Slow Cooker

Customize this soup with various beans and spices!

Ingredients:

  • 28 oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes

  • 32 oz broth (chicken or vegetable)

  • 13 oz can cannellini beans (rinsed)

  • 13 oz can borlotti beans (rinsed)

  • 15 oz can kidney beans (rinsed)

  • 15 oz can pinto beans (rinsed)

  • 15 oz can black beans (rinsed)

  • 1 pkg chicken bacon (already cooked) OR 2 cups diced ham

  • 1 white onion, diced

  • Rosemary, to taste

  • Parsley, to taste

Directions:

 

1. Place all ingredients in the slow cooker and stir well.

2. Cook for 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
